Alternative Printing - continued

I used the last of the chemicals kindly donated by John Brewer last night. Fortunately my order arrived from Retrographics in yesterdays post. Also placed an order for Arches Aquarelle paper from Jacksons Art Supplies. They were the best price and also cut the paper into quarters for free. So now I should have enough chems and paper to keep me going for a while.

Back to the images from last night. I tried a few new negatives that I had made on saturday evening and had a modecum of sucsess with at least one. The negative is very dense, processed specifically for the alt-process, and is a high-key study any way. First attempt was to dark and lacked contrast so I reprinted, less exposure and adding some K2Cr3O7 to the sensitizer (again kindly supplied by John). This help alot and I liked the results. This opens up a lot of potential in regards to some of my older negatives which are lower in contrast.
Blue
Tea toned

I also ran of a duplicate to Tone with tea.
